Loneliness

I have often felt so lonely,
Often, crippling beneath my thoughts

I am encapsulated as a groundnut in its pod.

Loneliness gripped my ability,

Loneliness kills my vulnerability,
I have often wanted more from life,

Often wanted more from friendships,

And more, from experiences,

But, I feel encamped by loneliness,

I could not shield myself from loneliness.
In this lonely state, I feel I could think more,

In this lonely estate of mine

I find my own self,

Only me on the lonely estate.
